I’ve noticed various trees flowering and bearing fruits outside of their normal fruiting season in the last year or two, and friends in different parts of the world have reported similar things (Pouteria caimito fruiting out of season in the Amazon, Litsea garciae in Borneo…), and I can only surmise that climate change is responsible.

Has anyone else noticed trees fruiting out of season and any correlation between that and unusual climate patterns?

I’ve seen out of season flowering but I would say our seasonal changes are too extreme for out of season fruiting to really be possible in most cases.
