    I’d imagine Nix (or even GUIX) would be a great tool but predictably they aren’t using it.

    Here’s an article I remember reading a while back where the author revives a 15 year old package using nix: https://blinry.org/nix-time-travel/

    I kinda don’t believe they will be successful in this. Like it’s just one guy, and the goals are extremely huge. But maybe he makes it.
