Which, afaik, can be prevented by “simply” not eating anything with added sugar. (Not so simple these days unless you cook everything yourself)

Wooden toothbrushes are the real green option ! Get the right one and they’re entirely biodegradable.

That’s fair, but dogs don’t tend to care much about not walking through flower beds 😆 So, I would probably not get ticks myself, but they probably would.

The only concern I’d have is ticks. Is there a way to get rid of them without going crazy with bug spray or destroying the plants ?
