The Republican politicians who rail against climate change are putting on an act. Some believe it and will still parrot lies for the chance to keep being elected and the others are just idiots who will never, ever learn and are just teying to impress their fellow conservatives.
Here is the same thing I posted, but reworded slightly to be more clear.
We make some cars now with modern safety feature that are big and some that are just as small as the econoboxes from 40 years ago. A Honda Fit for example is just as small, but with modern safety features.
I said nothing about weight.
Nah, we still make compact cars similar in size with the same safety features to econoboxes from 40 years ago. Like houses, people want more room in their vehicles than they had with the smaller cars plus some other misinformed choices like thinking bigger and taller means safer.
Plus along with the older small cars we also had the giant boats that got single digit mpg. It wasn’t like they were all small in the past.
Things we hold get smaller. Things we fit inside get bigger.
Csst iron and stainless are really good for most things, and ceramic non-stick does a great job of filling the niche of a small and quick pan that doesn’t use as much oil as stainless and doesn’t need the heat retention of cast iron. Plus the ceramic surface holds up way better than other non-stick coatings.
When the process is powerful enough to blast out the hard to reach places, followed by cleaning and disinfecting that has lead to extremely reliable outcomes across decades, there isn’t a reason to reject individual bottles that go through the process.
They most likely do regular checks to make sure the cleaning process is working as designed, as is the standard practice for any automated process. If the samples aren’t unclean, then there is no reason to worry about any individual bottle. They check for cracks with lasers because it is fast and easy to do, plus it has the benefits of not allowing contaminants in and reduces the chances of bottles breaking during filling.
On top of that the fermentation process is hostile to bacteria and other contaminants, so even if a minuscule amount was making it through, the beer will finish it off. They don’t need to be surgical instrument clean.
