i believe in thinking, and efficiency. you apparently believe in neither. it hurts no one (cept apparently you) to think on things.
for your edification

ha, ok. youll be ok. its alright. everything will be just fine.
why dont you have some nice warm milk and this cookie. youll feel right as rain.
Tell me, why on earth would you put solar panels between rails?
were just trying to find some efficiency in the space wasted by rail not-in-use. thats a lot of land. im not saying its possible, but i dont think thought experiments about these kinds of things is a bad idea
could trains have some kind of mechanism that might help? physical contact seems too much, maybe a blower?
the timestamp indicates ~2.5hrs elapsed
i can see how nuclear and eventually fusion will be important in the centuries to come for … portable… energy. just boggles my mind why we have put zero effort into geothermal
we have no problem going to ridiculous lengths for oil and gas.
uh, ok. so we drill 2 big holes and link them for billions of dollars. what am i missing?
this is one i dont understand. if we down drill far enough anywhere , we get free heat. nuke plants cost billions… we cant drill a few miles for billions of dollars? what am i missing?
i think a good analog for what youre thinking is the ‘911 tax’. it used to be that landlines had a line tax to pay for emergency services, but when everyone dumped their land lines the 911 tax bottomed out and small communities could no longer cover their emergency services costs.
its since been supplanted with other tax streams, but having to pay for the infrastructure makes sense.
but this shit? profits? sit and spin on a cactus you fucking fucks.
