Not really an expert but I think at least desktop PCs sometimes have a batttery for the clock, this wouldn’t really make sense with a laptop since it already has one but maybe still worth checking?

Difficult one, while it’s certainly not a “cute graffiti” I would agree on “wholesome acts of vandalism”, I think.
