Joke’s on you, we never undiscovered the handcart. Or horse carts. Or ox carts. Or four-wheeled carts used by hawkers. Or four-wheeled carts with a motorcycle embedded in it. Or a bicycle-drawn cart. Or a bicycle-pushed cart. Or a cart some insane dude frankensteined together with a diesel generator to make the buggy of doom.

2·1 month agoI bought RO water filter service kits, pump, valve, power supply, and cutoff valve for about $40. It contains the following filters in order: Spun polyproplyene pre filter, sediment filter, pre-carbon filter, ro membrane, post-carbon filter, uf filter, mineral filter. Feed water is brackish groundwater, 2000 TDS. Output is pure water at 100 TDS. Pre filter replaced every three-four months, rest once a year. RO membrane once every two years. Pump and parts as needed. Makes 30-40 liters of water a day. I always keep spare filters and parts on hand.

4·2 months agoThis works for fruit juices, too. Even most ‘real’ juices are created from fruit concentrates. You can just cut out the middleman and get the concentrates directly. Even including the sugar/invert sugar you gotta put in, it costs less than half as much. And you control the amount of sugar you want. I use them extensively.

2·2 months agoJust search for concentrates or soap bases on amazon. They all have guides on how to prepare them. I usually also just look up the main/active ingredients in the products I use and just order that.

11·2 months agoConcentrates are the way. I get my handwash in powder form. Half a kilogram makes 10 liters of very good liquid handwash. Same for floor cleaner, I just buy pine oil with some additives. A single 1L bottle makes 40-60L of very good floor cleaner, all biodegradable. Buy shampoo concentrate/base, dilute 3x to make very good, sulfate-free shampoo. And it saves just ridiculous amounts of money.
Put that in a bush. A sparrow couple is gonna have a nest fit for royalty.
