Very well put. I’d also add that the Pantanal is one of the most biologically diverse areas on that planet, with several endemic species.

That’s cool but uh… that’s pretty far from out of the box.
Who are you calling hot, you sly dog?
We’re so, so ducked.
That’s mixing greek and latin.
And we never do that. Ever.
White?
I have a countertop version with a single “burner”. It’s amazing what you can do with that. Sometimes I take it outside to cook out when the weather is nice.
I guess you want unattended cooking. But if that’s not the case, and you’re doing other stuff in the kitchen, an induction cooktop is the most versatile option. Some even let you set a temperature so you’re not wasting energy.
You forgot delicious. Easily one of my favorite fruits.
I always asked myself how you’d sharpen these things, but I guess maybe you don’t need to.
Dude, you’re being intentionally dense. I’m saying it’s ineffective and it’s time for violence.
Right, I’m sure those in power love when people advocate for a violent uprising.
You mentioned FedEx and UPS. That’s basically every package dealer. No e-commerce, no sending items to loved ones, no freight whatsoever.
The whole “vote with your wallet” thing is drivel concocted by those in power to convince us to not overthrow them, peacefully or otherwise. The billionaires have immense wallets and there’s no true competition for the common person to actually exercise any power with their wallet. It’s a fallacy.
Are you saying this to demoralize us and erode our confidence in America even more? Because it’s working.
I’m guessing D) All of the above.
What? Dams usually have a regulating effect on flow downstream. Why would it cause swings?
For most of the day, the dam will hold back water, letting only a small amount through, roughly equivalent to the region’s dry season. But for about four hours each night, it will release water to generate power, sending a raging river downstream almost like during monsoon season.
Why would they build it like that? That’s stupid and wasteful. Why?!
Other than the obvious clickbait, look at OP’s history.
I thought Texas and Oklahoma were part of the southwest?
Math rocks = dice.
