I have never seen this to be true.

Let’s not suggest a neurotoxin.

Cyanoacrylate accelerator is not IPA. It’s a mix of acetone and amines. You are getting a weak effect from the water in the IPA.

It won’t work unless there is a large surface area.

I seriously doubt that.

Gloop is just acetone and tetrahydrofuran. That shit is toxic AF.

Glues are fucking useless unless you have a large surface area to bond. Headphones don’t use ABS, too brittle. The use polycarbonate on the hoop that breaks and that doesn’t bond well with glue.
Hot staples are an option because the embed steel wire into the plastic. These kits are cheap now and very common in automotive plastic repair because glue is universally useless.

Of course, until the economics of gas make no more sense.

People should not be looking at the purchase price, they should be looking at total long term costs. Especially since the US is not going to stop random wars anytime.
That’s a buried coil closed heat pump system. Very expensive.
Swamp coolers do nothing in humid summers.
Insulated attics make roof material irrelevant. Heat comes in from walls.
Those roofs are for architectural projects or custom homes for Hollywood celebrities. Nightmare in costs and they don’t last.
Most of North America built bungalows after WW2. All your dramatic concerns were addressed 50 years ago, and no, they were not extremely expensive and 8" concrete walls with French drains and sump pumps work well.
Absolutely no difference. An AC is a heat pump.

Or the trillion dollars sitting in France that might work in 30 years.

Water mills only produced a set amount of power that could be increased orders of magnitude by coal and steam.

Uh…electricity makes fertilizers, runs water pumps for sprinklers and refines all the fuel.

No. This concept was first used in Italy over 40 years ago. They choose the appropriate trees.
yeah, everyone is an engineer on Lemmy. there is ferrous hardware all over BT headphones.
