Not fuckin Duluth trading co. Wore out in a few months, being in Australia the warranty is useless too.
5.11 cargo pants last me ages.
My previous account was @dumblederp@aussie.zone I left it because Rowling has turned out to be a pretty shitty person and I don’t want the association.
Mostly I’m just here for idle friendly conversation over shared interests.
I can get caught up in my own stubbornness on some topics.

I’m boring, panniers and/or a backpack. Got a front basket (Wald?) that I hate - holds fuck all weight and unbalances the bike with anything decent in it.
I tried to build an e-cargo bike out of an old Australia post delivery bike but the bike was too small for me, shame as it was rated to 190kg.
I’d love a mid-drive, belt-drive dutch-style cargo-bike where I can put someone on the front and rear racks without issue.

I’d be interested what the police thought about this. It probably wouldn’t fly in Australia, plus he’d be paying motorbike registration which I think is $600/yr.

TLDW: Guy converts a small engine motorcycle into a rear wheel drive e-motorbike. Cute idea. Those 3000w rear hubs are illegal in Australia.

Maybe a year.
I don’t know how difficult worm farm are, I’ve kept away from them.

I keep away from vermiculture because I don’t want to accidentally kill all the worms with a moments negligence. I’ve got an open base compost bin with a lid that sits on the bare earth. I throw vegetable matter in it from the kitchen and garden then leave it while it composts. I should get one or two more so I can get a few going. The longer it’s left the better it becomes - within reason.

Hempcrete if you can get it.

I bought a cheap pair off aliexpress that I’m happy with.

Mine got a rattle in one side where the speaker broke free inside the housing. Still works but is annoying.

It’s still a big change and not everyone is going to be able to embrace it all at once. Anyone reducing their animal-diet should be congratulated for the change rather than berated for not going far enough.

Even as close to it as you can manage.
They really need a leader and some basic rules imo. I’ve lived in communities too and they seem to attract lazy mooching types. I’d love to live in a functional one but I’ve yet to see that happen.
Glad you had a good experience. That’s what I bought and they were a total fucking waste of time and money. They wore through in a few months. Fuck Duluth, i feel like they were my first BIFL rip off experience.
The second being Opinel, the locking collar cracked and the tip snapped off without sketchy use.
