I guess America needed a declaration of emergency in domestic timber supply, caused by the declaration of an emergency of having friends as trading partners for timber 🦫…
To keep good BIFL boots in shape over a period of many years and regular use, make sure you care for it, as they aren’t invincible to the elements over time. Wipe salt stains off a few times a month, apply waterproofing spray or cream before every winter, avoid roughly jamming your foot in if you can, replace soles every few years, then it will last you.
There is no serious need
I think this is perfect for people that do exercise, athletic training and sports. A smart watch is useful for heart rate monitoring, not needing to check your phone for distance measurements or notifications. A conventional digital watch can be a chronometer, timer, maybe heart rate if fancy but there are real benefits to the “smart” functionality.
Not everyone needs one of these, but there is a certain segment that smart watches are best for, and if there is one that has an open design and ecosystem compared to others like Samsung, Apple this is excellent.
Woooahhh… Far out, my worker dudes…

I think the 8MW was a typo in the article, the link is to an article on the same site discussing an 8GW farm.
Compare that to Texas, with a similar renewable energy makeup, whose go-it-alone grid works great unless it’s too hot or too cold or too stormy in the case of Beryl.
This is excellent news! Shut down this alternative avenue of justice for the rich, that is using money to kill our planet.
Lol you forgot, eating straight from the pan and just washing the pan.

Interesting idea. Would only realistically work on abandoned lines rather than rarely used lines, with special permission from the railroad infrastructure owner and the national governing body for railways (Federal Railroad Administration in the case of US, Eisenbahn-Bundesamt in Germany), since normal railway signalling systems for single track wouldn’t work with the bidirectional monorail system.
I haven’t been able to provably say whether I’ve seen any that there was any position I’ve applied to that didn’t exist to begin with.
I have personally encountered several times when open positions remain where the desired candidate was already chosen several weeks ago, and I only knew because I knew someone at the company, there was zero indication of that on the posting itself.
