Nice! Thanks for the info. Looks like Costco has a bundle on sale right now too so I may give it a shot even if I end up with a more expensive shaver as well.

I like the approach Braun took with the series 5. Mine has a battery (that’s held up shockingly well over a decade and a half), but you could always plug it in and continue shaving if the battery died. I’ll be very disappointed if that’s not still the case on newer models.
Oneblade looks interesting. I’ll have to check that out. Do you dry shave with it?
They weren’t cheap, but they were quality. At the cadence I shave I could usually get two years out of one before I noticed it getting dull. For comparison, the last off-brand one I tried was maybe 60% of the price, but lasted around 3 months before breaking mid-shave and coming close to tearing up my skin. So well worth it to me to buy the real deal. I’ll gladly buy off-brand whenever possible, but something sharp running over my neck is where I draw the line lol.

We’ve had one from Ana Bath for about 12 years. No issues other than a rubber gasket needed replacing around year 10, which they sent to me at no charge. It was less than $100 on Amazon IIRC.
