No ☹ When they said they chose that species because “they favoured the bricks as a habitat”, I thought the frogs might just get in on their own and feel better, but that researcher then goes on to talk about bringing frogs into captivity.
I’ve only just found the channel, and am currently watching the one on Biomimicry. Glad to hear the quality’s consistent.
I like this idea of thinking about purchases in terms of per-use cost - this means you should spend more on mattresses and bed linen, underwear, office chairs and computer peripherals, etc.
I’m also a fan of working out how much a price-tag is in terms of how long you need to work to get the equivalent cash. Would I be willing to work for an extra two hours to get this thing?
With the same level of logic and proof, I feel free to say that since you’ve never made a film, released an album or published a novel, you’re not allowed to criticise any of them or the people who have.
edit: It should be noted that @mosiacmango@lemm.ee edited their post after my reply to remove the bad arguments as well as the accusations originally levelled at @Dave@lemmy.nz and me, accusations that couldn’t possibly be backed up. It now reads more reasonable and balanced.
I was able to complete a proof of concept in a relatively short time of four months
Interesting that they don’t have time to add decent moderation tools, but do have time for this.
That’s where I’d heard of them, that channel is a goldmine.
