My garden in June of this season. Everything came together to make this the most lush and vibrant season I’ve ever had - a very mild summer, more watering and fertilizing than I’ve done in the past, carefully nurtured local predator populations thriving and keeping pests mostly in check, and a rare frostless winter starting everything off strong.
It’s been a very good year.
It’s a mix of morning glory, moonflower, grape, and a thornless climbing rose - all very gentle. They spread and climb prodigiously, especially the morning glory and moonflower, and went up that light string there without much intervention needed besides a bit of tidying up.
