I know there’s probably a better community for this, but I’ve got this beautiful fungi growing on a living maple tree in my back yard and I wonder if it’s worth digging out the ladder to crawl up and get a closer look.

Yeah, I know it’s not diagnostic, was more asking if it was worh crawling up for a closer look.
