What’s more, it was an extra long cycle because my washing machine is dying and it got stuck with an error, so they spent several hours soaking, case and all.

Well, I just charged them and apparently they work fine. I don’t know how long they’ll last after this kind of treatment, but just the fact that they didn’t die immediately deserves a commendation IMO.

    Disassemble them (look up the battery replacement guide), then leave them open to air out in a dry warm place for several days… Will help avoid any creeping corrosion from moisture you’ve left sealed in the buds.
