There’s a good video that shows it off here.

Also be sure to check out !Reticulum@mander.xyz

EDIT: it seems the main dev stepped back from the project in December, and I’m unsure where the community is continuing its development, or if they are at all. So unfortunately unless someone else steps up the maintain it, it might not be developed any further. In that case, Meshtastic is still likely our best option.

isn’t it a bit against the spirit of the protocol to rewrite it in a language that’s painful to read?

how would you host a site on something that is completely event-based, requires out-of-band address verification and uses store-and-forward? it seems like the more proper way to use this is with a client that has all the ui where you just subscribe to updates.

By host a site, I was referring to what you describe, as there are apps that allow you to create personal pages or forums over the reticulum network, like Nomadnet, which is demonstrated at the start of this video.

ah okay, so “personal site” here is more like a .plan file thing. seems reasonable.

overall, i like the concept and the ideology, but the manual hash sharing makes for a pretty big barrier to entry. which is fine in its current state, but really limits how it can expand to more “normal” users.
