      I thought the same at first but reading the article, Jamiluddin Jami is a conservationist with a history of tree planting from 19.

      I didn’t know this till reading but apparently:

      Tree-climbers help with scientific research by measuring the height of trees and setting up cameras to monitor wildlife.

      It’s a pretty fun read, a good break from most depressing news honestly

      I’d recommend giving it a chance if you want a break from everyday dystopian news

    The tree was about 50 metres taller than the surrounding trees, so we felt very isolated.

    Must have been an incredible view! Most of the tallest trees I’ve seen are surrounded by others of similar height, so that sounds fairly unique.
